Characters/Actors: Annie Walker (Kristen "SNL" Wiig), Lillian (Maya "SNL" Rudolph), Helen (Rose "Insidious" Byrne), Jon TV's "Mad Men" Hamm, etc.
Annie Walker (Kristen Wiig) is a former cake shop owner who while named maid of honor for her lifelong friend (Maya Rudolph) Lillian's upcoming nuptials her life seems to be spiraling out of control. She is taken for granted by a male sex buddy, she loses her job, she is about to get kicked out of her apartment, and a policeman pulls her over for a nonfunctional tail light. On the bright side, this goodhearted policeman may be Annie's soulmate. Also, she takes an instant and pretty much mutual dislike to a recent friend (Rose Byrne) of Lillian's who is much younger and prettier. At a pre-wedding dinner the two friends of Lillian keep trying to one-up each other. There are a lot of funny parts of this movie, presented by Judd "Superbad", "The 40 Year Old Virgin",etc. Apatow. This movie shows that a group of funny women can do a gross out comedy as well as the boys can. Also, this is a chick flick that men can enjoy too.
