Sci-Fi Bri's Movies: "The Town" Rated R

Sci-Fi Bri's Movies: "The Town" Rated R for violence, profanity

Dir: Ben Affleck (also directed "Gone Baby Gone"
Starring Ben "Chasing Amy" Affleck (Doug Macray), Jeremy "The Hurt Locker" Renner, Rebecca Hall (Claire), John "Madmen" Hamm, Titus "Sons of Anarchy" Welliver, Blake "Gossip Girl" Lively, Pete "The Usual Suspects" Postlethwaite, Chris Cooper, Victor "Alias" Garber, etc.

The leader of a bunch of masked, armed bank robbers in Massachusetts falls for a woman he took hostage during a heist. The woman has no idea that he was involved in the robbery. Meanwhile, the FBI at first have no idea who the thieves are, but chances are they are from Charlestown, Massachusetts where (according to the opening credits) for many Charlestown residents bank robbery is a way of life. This was a really good movie. It was much better than the Affleck directed "Gone Baby Gone". However, the movie "Takers", released about a month ago had a similar plot and was a more entertaining film.
